The towns at the far ends of Ouray's passes. Each one has its own rules for side-by-sides, so check before you drive into one.

Silverton

Side-by-sides are banned in town. Where to unload, and which trails start here.

Lake City

Side-by-sides allowed on town streets. Rules, fuel, and the Alpine Loop.

Telluride

Unlicensed side-by-sides can't drive in town. Black Bear, Imogene, and the way back.

Side-by-sides at a glance: Lake City lets them drive its streets. Silverton and Telluride don't, so plan to trailer through town or turn around.
